The plight of one Wrexham nurse highlights how the NHS is being privatised by stealth after a decade of underfunding and mounting waiting lists, says a North Wales MS. She is now considering selling her home to pay for private health care that would enable her to keep working in her job.

The scheme at Llys Erw, a sheltered complex run by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association, includes a greenhouse, tool shed, raised beds for fruit, fruit trees and bulbs for planting.

The long-delayed report into the fire at the Kronospan plant at Chirk should be released immediately. That’s the view of Plaid Cymru’s North Wales MS Llyr Gruffydd, who said the delay in releasing the investigation was causing unease in the local community.
